  1. I can’t say I’m surprised, I just hope it’s implemented better than it was in black ops 4. I personally think that black ops 2 was the best with the weapon skin mtx only.

  2. Assuming free maps since there is no season pass they were never going to bin the micro transactions. Hopefully they are reasonable.

  3. Don’t care as long as they are cosmetic only, I have no problem looking like a basic bitch, if I can get all the weapons, maps and core game for 60 bucks

  4. I’m not even going to consider buying this game until a few months in. They claimed the cod 4 remaster wasn’t going to have any microtransactions and then threw them in alongside paywalled maps which were already part of the original game along with more powerful gun stats locked behind loot boxes.

  5. I’ll wait with my decision whether or not to buy the game until the microtransactions are implemented.

  6. I wonder how many COD players will continue to buy new COD releases despite the endless microtransactions but still complain about said microtransactions?

Oh, that’s right. All of them.

  7. How on Earth did we get from “Boycott the game, it sells horse armour dlc!!!” To “As long as it’s cosmetic only I’m okay with it”? This is why we can’t have nice things…

  8. After COD Black Ops 4 fans have no excuse. You know exactly what Activision thinks of you and this series. It’s your choice if you want to support it.

  9. Can’t get upset about it if you were never planning on buying the game anyways.

    *Taps side of head*

  10. Everyone here is complaining but I’d be more shocked if there were no microtransactions at all. At the end of the day, it’s Activision, and they want big money. If the dlc isn’t as shit as BFV it’ll be worth the trade

  11. Unpopular opinion: I’m actually okay with this.

Cosmetic upgrades have always been an optional thing that I’ve never taken advantage of. These games being able to continue raking in cash after release keeps the price at the same $60 it’s been at for years. For a pretty simplistic dude that doesn’t take advantage of all the fancy DLC and enjoys the base game as is, I’m alright with it.

TL;DR I’m not footing the bill for these games so I’m happy.

  12. All of the “newer” CoD titles had something bad to them – BO3 devs said no weapon mtx and then they started adding those, BO4 devs said it would be their most updated game with free DLC and look how that turned out. Every CoD has something shitty to it, I’d say wait a few months before buying the game to see the devs’ true colours and intentions with the title in the long haul, but this is Nostalgia Warfare after all so people are already preordering the game, let alone considering holding off a few months to see if it’s worth giving your money to the devs.

  13. And you guys are still gonna buy it. And you’re still gonna complain. I can’t wait for a guy to say “I spent $110 on a video game I’m entitled to more than what I knew I was purchasing!!!”
