This is what happens when you play a user level on Super Mario Bros. Maker 2
This is why easy mode exists. Work was hard enough, I don’t want my video games to be hard too.
Me playing sekiro 😠
When you’re on losing streak in league of legends. Just let me win one fucking game.
This is why single player open world exists. Repetitive grinding is a way to achieve relaxation.
Honestly I’ve been having this dilemma with myself recently. I’ve been wondering if playing online games, or difficult singleplayer games are even worth it anymore because of how much they can frustrate me. My life is changing rapidly and I want to move on to bigger and better things, and grow as a person, and idk I just feel like some online games like Siege and For Honor, and singleplayer games like Bloodborne are holding me back.
My girlfriend calls me out on this every time I play Dark Souls to relieve stress. The reason it helps though is it gives me a challenge that I can actually beat. Unlike most of my real world problems that just seem to overwhelm.
Edit: Thanks for the award! Never gotten one before! I was actually hesitant to post this as I wasn’t sure if others felt that way. Glad to see I’m not the only one escaping into my games!
Me playing Spider-Man. It’s all fun and games swinging around the city until some random scrub wrecks your shit with a shock baton.
Shooter games were fun with bots before u lose.
Some people wanna play video games to zone out and forget about life problems. Does that guy in the last panel look like he’s worrying about life problems…Nope. Mission accomplished.
The Division 2
Rocket League when the car doesn’t flip like I told it to…
Hearthstone in a nutshell
You wanna honestly chill? Pop in PS4 Spider-Man to calm your nerves and enjoy the swinging
Open minecraft and build easy.
That’s why I love just chilling in LEGO Games.
I used to immediately set games to the hardest setting. I enjoyed spending time solving the challenges the games offered. I was a kid. I had part time jobs or whole summers off.
These days, I don’t have as much time to dedicate to learning all the subtle mechanics. It took me a long time to be OK with it, but I’ve found switching to “easy” nets me a lot more enjoyment out of games when I relax at the end of a day.
Rocket League, is that you?
should say YOU DIED
This is why I stopped playing Fortnite and PUBG. I probably sunk a hundred hours into each, trying to get gud, but could never get a single win. Why? Because there’s always some sweaty Twitch streamer in every lobby that spends 14 hours a day playing that will always be better than you.
And that’s great and good for them, but it makes the games unenjoyable to me to play when there’s no sense of accomplishment.
I used to take so much joy in finally completing something after dying multiple times and would always choose the “Insane” mode of a game. But now? I have too many different hobbies and responsibilities and work is constant stress/anxiety. I don’t want to fail a hundred times anymore. I like a comfortable challenge now and happily play on easy/normal.
when i play league of legends
No wonder he lost. His controller don’t have any buttons or sticks
This is what I think about when people go and play Dark Souls to “wind down”
Apex ranked right now.
Who upvotes this shit
Is it weird that bloodborne is my game to relax but smash bros always makes my blood bool without fail
I stopped enjoying video games at some point in my life. Maybe I’ll play through Witcher 3 again, until Cyberpunk 2077 comes out.
Nah, I won’t
This is why I play Animal Crossing
How the fuck did this 2nd place mother fucker get a red shell in the last second of the race on mario kart and blast me in the ass with it! Fuuuck!
You guys ever play Slime Rancher? Chill as fuck and no “you lose” screen.
