  1. I have 2 of those, they gave them to my sons in the “other secret” Valve offices in the Seattle area…

  2. The Cake isn’t a lie OP and Grandma would be happy to bake you one just to restore your trust once again!!!

  3. “Good morning. You have been in suspension for -FIFTY- days. In compliance with state and federal regulations, all testing candidates in the Aperture Science Extended Relaxation Center must be revived periodically for a mandatory physical and mental wellness exercise.”

“You will hear a buzzer. When you hear the buzzer, look up at the ceiling. [BUZZER]”

“Good. You will hear a buzzer. When you hear the buzzer, look down at the floor. [BUZZER]”

“Good. This completes the gymnastic portion of your mandatory physical and mental wellness exercise.”

“There is a framed painting on the wall. Please go stand in front of it.”

“This is art. You will hear a buzzer. When you hear the buzzer, stare at the art. [BUZZER]”

“You should now feel mentally reinvigorated. If you suspect staring at art has not provided the required intellectual sustenance, reflect briefly on this classical music. [MUSIC INTERRUPTED BY BUZZER]”

“Good. Now please return to your bed.”

  4. No one ever buys mugs, they just aquire them. They open the cabinet and there’s a mug, they’re sitting on the couch and oh look they’re holding mug. That’s how it works.

  5. Several years ago, one of these was stolen off my desk at work.

I’m going to blame your grandparents from now on.

  6. I’ve got the same one for my office. Thankfully, this cup is do big, it fits a double sized coffee 🙂

  7. Here come the test results: “You are a horrible grandson.” That’s what it says: a horrible grandson. We weren’t even testing for that.

  8. This reminds me of an Assassins Creed pamphlet my grandmother had in her house. It was one from the revolutionary war AC game, with letters and stuff from Washington and shit. And she was reading it like she would any other book. I noticed it sitting next to her chair and asked her why she had it.She was so happy I recognized the icon on the cover (the AC graphic), and proceed to ask me what it meant. The look on her face when I told her she had been reading video game literature was priceless. She threw it in the trash immediately and started ranting about how stupid games are and how they’re the destruction of youth yada yada. What a memory !

  9. This sub is fucking awful hahahaha. Heres a picture of a cup with a dumb caption, upvotes to the left

  10. Sure you do. Your Grandparents are obviously closet gamers that loved Portal 2 CoOp and your grandpa is romantic as fuck. He commemorated the loving time he spent with his spouse by getting a mug.

They’ll eventually tell you on their deathbed that they understood every single pop culture and gaming reference and that no one will ever believe you.

    Good luck.

  11. I have the same cup. The back has the slogan “trusted friend in science.” Over time some of the letters have started to come off after several times through the dish washer. But oddly enough it’s mostly just the word “friend” that has most noticably come off. Which is perfect for an aperture cup.
