  1. Thinking of upgrading to a 2070 super. Currently have a ryzen 5 2600/ 16gb ram. 1080p 144hz monitor. Would there be any foreseable problems/bottlenecking if i just put in the gpu??

  2. Are there any Nvidia Control panel settings that are worth changing from default for performance/visual boosts?

  3. Help! I turned on my computer today and there was a picture of a female on the desktop. I unplugged it immediately and am not sure what I should do now.

  4. Will a Corsair 5180 be able to play Insurgency Sandstorm without any issues?

I’m considering the purchase but am reluctant to due to the game’s optimization at its current state.

  5. I understand this might be offtopic but I decided to ask it here.

What option does someone have in terms of career path and jobs that has been a PC and gaming fan/consumer/user? I’ve had my first PC gifted when I finished kindergarden. Ever since then I’ve been gaming, on average probably 4-6h a day. Recently I’ve been showing interest in the hardware side of PC and been loving how sites and youtubers get to make a living from making reviews and such. I’m finishing my university studies early next year but from a whole different subject: sport science. I’ve been trying to spend as much time as possible to try and find a career path that suits me well and I just cannot help but think that I’d be best with something that involves PCs in some ways. I’ve taken some classes in programming but quickly figured out that it wasn’t for me, found it kind of boring. I’d appreciate some ideas, thanks in advance!

  6. I want to get an nzxt case for my pc. The H500i. I have a ryzen 7 , Nvidia GeForce gtx 1070 to, and a MSI MS-7B78 motherboard. Will all those components work with that case ?

  7. Thinking about upgrading my CPU. I have a R5 1600 with a 1070ti. Monitor is 1440p 144hz, I mostly play single player games. MOBO is B350 Gaming Plus that I’d rather not upgrade atm.

Should I get the Ryzen 3600 or the 3700x? I’m not sure if the 3600 would bottleneck the GPU or if its worth getting the 3700x instead.

  8. I’m still using an i7 4770k and was thinking about upgrading my video card to the 2060 super(currently using 680gtx), you guys think there will be a huge problem regarding bottlenecks? I just got ghost recon Wildlands during the steam sale and my fps drops like crazy at some parts with the game graphics just set to medium.

  9. Anyone ever get mods to sync up between systems? Using Vortex for all the usual games. Fallout and elderscrolls.

As long as you install the same mods on each system, there shouldnt be any issues, right?

  10. Should I wait for prime day to buy a monitor? I’ve never done a prime day sale so I don’t know how it works.

  11. I am planning on getting the r5 3600 but I’d also need to get a new mobo. If I buy the MSI B450 Tomahawk new from amazon or Newegg, would it be able to run the 3600 off the bat with its bios or would it be easier to just go with a X570 mobo. I also am going to upgrade my gpu next year when all conpanies release their gpu’s so I’m expecting pcie 4 cards. By upgrading my gpu next year, I’m leaning more towards X570. I guess my main question here is: Will the bios on a new B450 board work with the 3600 out of the box? If not, what can/should I do?

  12. I have a final mouse air58 but I’m tempted by the g903+powerplay at the moment. Anybody have any thoughts on going one way or the other?

  13. I’m looking for a decent bluetooth gaming mouse that is somewhat compact / for laptop. Any suggestions appreciated. Would be cool if there was something like the surface arc mouse but proper buttons etc

  14. Just a complaint about PC gaming: I hate that when a game freezes that I can’t force quit the program. Yes I know pressing the windows button and calling up program manager but all too often I can’t switch to the program manager to shut down the program. The only solution I know is restarting the PC. A

  15. Can anyone with Gamepass check and see if you can use Steams “Add non-Steam game” feature to enable controller support?

  16. I have G.Skill Ram and an MSI motherboard, I was trying to use Mystic Light to control the RGB on the ram but it was not appearing mystic light.

  17. My PSU its a Thermaltake TR2 RX 650W and has the [following powe](https://http2.mlstatic.com/fuente-thermaltake-tr2-rx-650w-80-plus-D_NQ_NP_444611-MLA20583602039_022016-F.jpg)r is it enought if i get this [result](https://outervision.com/b/6h2gr8) in the PSU calculator?

Im going to use it in the following build:
    CPU: Ryzen 2600x

    Motherboard: Aorus Elite B450

    Memory: 2 x 8 gb Corsair Vengeance

    Video card: R7 360

    1 SSD and 2 HDDs

I dont know if it affects, but im going to use it in two 24″ monitors and in a 32″ TV.

  18. Hello im looking to get my first gaming pc and would like some help. I dont know anything about computers so i dont really want to build one. I am looking this one currently and want to know if its good for the price. Ill be playing games like rust and the isle. Would it run them? Would it run triple a games? Please help a console noob become something more. Thanks.

  19. I’m looking for a gaming desktop PC that has a SSD, but I also don’t want to spend an arm and a leg on one. Is there a middle ground (i.e. one that has solid specs to run games and has an SSD?) something in the $600-700 price range is best. I don’t want to build one either because I’m not really tech savvy nor do I have the patience to. Prebuilt is best for me

  20. Does anyone know about any good USB volume dials that (hopefully) can be delivered to Australia?

Want a sleek(ish)one that I can sit on my desk and use easily.

    Thanks!

Also while I’m here, is the difference between the 2070 and 2070 Super justifiable for the price? Or should I go for a 5700XT?
