  1. I’ve got a fairly straight forward question I hope.

I currently have an MSI Z390a Pro motherboard, an i5 9600k CPU and I’ve recently inherited an RTX 2080.

My question is actually 2 questions:

    – is it worth upgrading my CPU? My birthday is 2 months away and I have time to drop hints to my wife.

    – if I did upgrade say, to an i9 9900k would my motherboard support it?

  2. Can we have a filter for E3 Trailers? Would love to watch them after work.

Edit: Oh I see that they are tagged as video already. Anyway to filter them?

  3. Hey I have a question about Origin Access 7 day trial. I wanted to buy Origin Access Basic but origin gives me 7 day trial. I tried it a few hours ago and didn’t like it. If i cancel i must pay 5 dolar or its dont charge

  4. Help please. Hey! I was playing Islanders and watching Netflix simultaneously on my laptop and the screen went grey. I did a hard reset (pressing the off button, and then on), it started okay, I introduced my password and the screen went black. Now the led indicator which says when the laptop is on is on but the laptop doesn’t make any noise, it appears nothing is working… Help?

  5. I need help beside deciding between these two PCs https://imgur.com/a/WMhQGen . The budget is 1200 and i want an overall good PC that i can use to stream, and play demanding games like tots war 3 kingdoms. If there’s something better on Amazon or something you can build for me feel free to list. Going with the majority and Thank you.

  6. I’m looking at purchasing a monitor (ViewSonic VP3268) that I’ll use for design work, but would also like to use for gaming. According to the spec sheet, it has a 60hz refresh rate, and it doesn’t have frame sync (like FreeSync or G-Sync I think they’re called?). Is this likely to give me problems with screen tearing? I’ll be using a GTX1070, and then later on an RTX2080 or 2080ti.

  7. This isn’t a technical question or anything, I would just like to hear some thoughts. I’ve been playing mainly very competitive games for my whole time PC Gaming, like Rainbow Six Siege, CS:GO and PUBG. My comfortable CPI is around 1500, and everyone that asks for this usually is blown away by how much it is. And to add to it, I use a relatively high in game sensitivity. The thing is, this sensitivity feels very natural to me, and lowering my CPI to even the upper range of “normal” feels REALLY SLOW.

So I guess what I’m asking is if it’s normal for people to move their mouse across the whole mousepad to get to the other end of the screen? That’s what it feels like to me. I commonly see people label high sensitivities as a “mistake”. Will lowering it perhaps help me perform better in games? (This isn’t me crying about how bad I am, in fact I don’t think I’m THAT bad but I am definitely at the lower end of all my friends. Mostly this is just a shower thought type thing, I haven’t really thought about it much until now.)

  8. Hey guys,

I just got a new gaming pc and it runs most games pretty well. However when I run minecraft, the screen freezes and I am forced to turn off the pc by holding the power button. This doesn’t happen when I play games like Overwatch or Fortnite. If anyone knows what’s wrong, any help would be appreciated.

  9. Is there a utility you can download that will tell which monitor for a game to launch on?

Instead of going to display settings every time, I just want to launch a certain game and have it load up on my 16:9 monitor.
