  1. I wish I could be this easily entertained again. I remember playing the original Halo and just driving the Warthog around the 2nd mission for hours.

  2. Wait. How long did it take him to realize that he needed to jump INTO the picture? That was straight up the hardest thing to fathom when I was a kid. I think I wandered around for a long time before I did it accidentally

  3. I love this! I have to ask…. did he wonder how you’re supposed to hold the controller with only two hands?

  4. His face looks like I felt the first time I played this game! I was 8 or 9 and it absolutely blew my mind out of my skull.

  5. Thats well cute. My son is 1 and can move around on minecraft on his own, often ends up staring at the sky but he loves it. Takes all his concentration though.

Edit.dunno why i’d be downvoted for saying my baby son has had a go on minecraft. Reddit is odd.

  6. When I was like 6 I heard about Super Mario 64 but I was past the Nintendo 64 era and was disappointed to find out I couldn’t play it on a Wii. My parents gave me the DSi version and I couldn’t stop playing.

  7. I’m gonna give my future children this game and console. If they manage to collect all 120 stars in the game I will get them anything they wish.

  8. I’m 13 rn I got introduced to final fantasy 7 by my dad for the ps1 I’m on my second play through now

  9. I grew up on super mario world but this is pretty great dude. Way to start him off right. I still think this is the greatest platformer ever made.

  10. My niece (who was around the same age at the time) and I were playing LoZ: Ocarina of Time, and she had a similar reaction. At first she was watching me and helping me with the puzzles, but then I gave the controller to her and let her ride Epona in Hyrule Field. That held her attention for much longer, and it was a real trip just watching her engage with the game so simply.
