  1. Jesus Christ the Pokemon Direct has only been out for 5 hours and already there’s a shitton of fanart, headcanons, and people cosplaying the newly released gym leader and hold on let me check…yup, already furry porn of the newly released legendaries. The internet was a mistake.

  2. According to the pokedex, Wailord is 14.5m tall. If we scale him similarly to a blue whale, he would have a length of around 140m long. Since Wailord looks roughly cylindrical shaped, we can use the volume of a cylinder to find that he is 23,118 m^3. Wailord’s pokedex weight is 398kg. This means that **Wailord’s density is 0.017kg/m^3 .** To put that in perspective, water’s density is 1000kg/m^3 . At sea level and at 15 °C, air has a density of approximately 1.225 kg/m3

TL;DR not only does Wailord float on water, he can float on air too, which puts the “Float Whale Pokemon” into an entirely new perspective.

  3. I don’t know what you’re talking about but isn’t Wailord like stupid light and floats or something?

  4. Curiously enough, all that went through the mind of the bowl of petunias was this:
    “Oh no… Not again….”

  5. What’s this thing suddenly coming towards me very fast? Very very fast. So big and flat and round, it needs a big wide sounding name like … ow … ound … round … ground! That’s it! That’s a good name – ground!

  6. Ah … ! What’s happening? it thought.

Er, excuse me, who am I?

    Hello?

Why am I here? What’s my purpose in life?

What do I mean by who am I?

Calm down, get a grip now … oh! this is an interesting sensation, what is it? It’s a sort of … yawning, tingling sensation in my … my … well I suppose I’d better start finding names for things if I want to make any headway in what for the sake of what I shall call an argument I shall call the world, so let’s call it my stomach.

Good. Ooooh, it’s getting quite strong. And hey, what’s about this whistling roaring sound going past what I’m suddenly going to call my head? Perhaps I can call that … wind! Is that a good name? It’ll do … perhaps I can find a better name for it later when I’ve found out what it’s for. It must be something very important because there certainly seems to be a hell of a lot of it. Hey! What’s this thing? This … let’s call it a tail – yeah, tail. Hey! I can can really thrash it about pretty good can’t I? Wow! Wow! That feels great! Doesn’t seem to achieve very much but I’ll probably find out what it’s for later on. Now – have I built up any coherent picture of things yet?

    No.

Never mind, hey, this is really exciting, so much to find out about, so much to look forward to, I’m quite dizzy with anticipation …

    Or is it the wind?

There really is a lot of that now isn’t it?

And wow! Hey! What’s this thing suddenly coming towards me very fast? Very very fast. So big and flat and round, it needs a big wide sounding name like … ow … ound … round … ground! That’s it! That’s a good name – ground!

I wonder if it will be friends with me?

  7. Okay but like, surely someone spectating in the stands at a gym battle would get hurt due to some kind of dynamax attack right lol

  8. According to my math

The biggest soccer stadium in the world Is the in North Korea and is named rungrado may stadium and it is 197 ft tall and has a width of 3,366 ft and a height of 33,660 ft

Now in the new trailer of sword and sheild it appears that raichu a 2’7 ft mouse is able to almost be the exact size of the stadium. This would mean if raichu would have to grow 73 times his size in order to be exactly the same size as the stadium. But is used 70 because as I said before it was a little bit smaller

So wailord’s height is 14.5 m tall, 47’7 m in length 80 ft in width and 877 pounds . You would multiply this by 70 , and since I’m American in not using metric, wailord’s new dimension would be 3,330 ft tall, 10,959 in length, 5,600 in width and 135,342 pounds.
